Yoga and Kayaking. Holyoke Rows. This is a great experience for beginners! We start with a yoga session overlooking the Connecticut River in the most peaceful location. Then I’ll show you basic paddling skills and we’ll travel along the flat water to a nearby bald eagles nest. Not to be missed. This event is limited to 12 people so sign up early!

Tyringham Cobble and Ashintully Gardens, Tyringham. Moderate Hike.  Part of our hike is on the Appalachian Trail. We’ll get a great view of Tyringham Valley and see some impressive geologic formations. After our hike we’ll tour the gardens at Ashintully and pick a beautiful spot to do yoga. The Tyringham Valley is known for its peaceful expanses. You’re sure to be inspired and renewed during this Yoga Adventure.

Bartholomew’s Cobble. Sheffield. Moderate Hike. Bartholomew’s Cobble is another picturesque Berkshire’s property protected by the Trustees of Reservations. This small property boasts more biodiversity than all of Acadia National Park! We’ll hike up the Cobble seeing impressive rock formations and then do yoga in a beautiful meadow.

Monument Mountain, Great Barrington. Moderate/strenuous. Monument Mountain is where Herman Melville was inspired to write Moby Dick, who knows what you’ll be inspired to do after hiking it!  From the 1,642-foot summit of Squaw Peak, you’ll enjoy views as far north as Mount Greylock, near the Vermont border, and, in the western distance, the Catskills of New York. Hawks (and even the occasional bald eagle) soar gracefully above the serene Housatonic River Valley spreading below.

Tully Lake Yoga Camp-out. The Trustees have camping gear, canoes and a campground. So let’s take advantage. A weekend of yoga, hiking, kayaking and stand-up-paddling.

Rock House. West Brookfield. Moderate Hike. We kicked off the season here in the spring, and as it is one of my favorite Trustees properties, it seems fitting to end the season here as well. We’ll loop through the forested landscape seeing small and giant boulders, rock walls, reflecting pond and then do yoga in front of the impressive rock wall- The Rock House. It should be lovely to see the fall foliage. Picnicking after is encouraged!
